"River God" is the first book in the series by
Wilbur Smith with an ancient Egyptian background. Although two completely
different novels with different backgrounds,
the author wrote "The Seventh Scroll" based on River God.
So having read River God before will help the reader to
understand and absorb The Seventh Scroll.
📖 Story Summary:
Two years ago, near Egypt, Dr. Dureid Al-Sima and his team
discovered a four-thousand-year-old tomb belonging to the former Egyptian Queen
Lustris.
Everything in the tomb was stolen in ancient times,
but luckily they discovered ten scrolls written by the slave Tita.
During the deciphering, the wonderful story of the time of Pharaoh Mamos of the
twelfth
generation of the Egyptian Empire was revealed four thousand years ago.

While deciphering the scrolls, Dr. Dureid Al-Sima and his
wife Dr. Roween Al-Sima saw the seventh scroll
as the most incomprehensible, mysterious and important.
Here Tita describes the location of the tomb of Pharaoh Mamos and the way to
find it,
which is very cryptic and riddled with riddles.
If the tomb of Pharaoh Mamos is discovered,
it will be the largest tomb discovery of all time.
A large amount of archeological artifacts and treasures lost thousands of years
ago will be found.
But Dureid was killed before he could fully recover the
meaning of the seventh scroll.
Everything in the house was set on fire.
The seventh scroll was stolen, along with all their research papers and
documents.
Rowan survived with a minor wound to the forehead.

Solve all the puzzles of the talented writer Kritdas Titer,

So Rowan enlists the help of Durreid's friend Quinton Nicholas-Harper,
whose name Durreid himself gave before his death. Nicholas,
an English millionaire businessman, an archeology collector, and an X-Army
officer, have experience of conducting such expeditions together with Dureid.
But the enemy continues to attack one after another to kill
Rowan.
Because even if the scroll is stolen, all the information is in Rowen's head.
Rowen and Nicholas went on an expedition after completing all the preparations.
Mamos's tomb is hidden in the remote mountainous area of Ethiopia.
A thousand years ago, Queen Lustris set out on an expedition to find the source
of the Nile,
stopping at a waterfall in the basin of the Abbey River, now known as Dendora,
around which the tomb of Mamos was built.
But in a word, it is impossible to find if you don't know the source in this
remote mountainous area.
Fortunately,
Nicholas found a square crack under a waterfall in the Dendora River.
The clues to the puzzle left by Titer suggest that this may
be the entrance to Mamos's tomb.
But how is that possible?
How Taita built a tomb fifty feet below the river four thousand years ago.
Taita calls himself a genius,
but what was so advanced man four thousand years ago???
To know, you have to dive deep into the river.
But before that, the attack happened, the enemies killed
everyone in the camp.

the killing of Dureid.

to be the best for me:-
Thriller novels have always been my favorite.
And if that book is about an expedition to retrieve a lost treasure from four
thousand years ago,
then no one can sit at home.
Can't say if I can find the treasure I can get some share too.
In Wilbur Smith's novel, the images, nature, and mystery of
Africa are always very beautiful.
And the ancient history comes alive.
Whether you are a thriller lover or a history lover, you will love Wilbur
Smith's novels about ancient Egypt.
Cons of
the book:-
The only downside to the book is the spelling mistakes.
In the first half, there was no visible spelling mistake,
but in the last half, there were many noticeable spelling mistakes.
It is not the writer's or translator's mistake.
The mistake is the publisher's typing mistake.
They need to be more careful. Hopefully the next version will fix the mistakes.

Character:-
Being a big book, the number of characters is also large.
But I like Dr. Rowen Al Sima the most.
She doesn't break down even after seeing her husband killed,
keeps her promise to her husband even after repeated attempts to kill her.
Takes revenge for killing her husband.
Jumping into danger without fear of death. Educated in Western education,
but not proud of Egypt's culture, traditions, love his country,
risk his life for the country.
I like Nicholas too.
I like him because of his qualities of determination, discretion, caution,
ability to lead,
jumping into danger of others, attitude of fighting no bones,
working in order, showing respect to women.
